Cristiano Ronaldo’s Juventus medical shows he is fitter than a 20-year-old

CRISTIANO Ronaldo’s latest medical reportedly showed that he is as fit as a 20-year-old professional footballer — despite being 33 himself.

The Portuguese football superstar completed a shock $AUD175.5 million move to Italian giant Juventus after deciding to call time on his stellar Real Madrid career.

Ronaldo had previously claimed that biologically he was 23-years-old, meaning he can play to his high standards for at another four years.

But according to AS, the star’s medical in Turin showed that he could knock another three years off that biological age.

It’s said that Ronaldo clocked in with just seven per cent body fat — with the average professional carrying between 10 and 11 per cent.

He was also recorded as having 50 per cent muscular mass – four per cent more than the average professional.

The ace is fitter than most 20-year-olds and has a lower body fat percentage than most professional footballers

Despite Portugal crashing out of the World Cup in the first knockout round in a loss to Uruguay, Ronaldo proved he was still one of the best players around with some incredible performances.

His most notable showing came in the opening game against Spain when he bagged a hat-trick — including a spectacular free kick — in a 3-3 draw.

And not only that, the former Manchester United favourite also put in the fastest sprint of the tournament as he covered the ground at a speed of 33.98km/h.
